The nineties were so much BETTER....

Why have cartoons started to suck so bad?

Let's think about this logically: cartoons from the 90's were awesome. Sure, the animation was a little rough, but it had character. It was stiff and lively at the same time. They were actually FUNNY, and the irony in them was what made them so amazing. Of course, I'm going to talk about how much Spongebob has changed. In the 90's, the humor was in the sarcasm, the irony, the naiive-ness and the pity. You felt what the characters felt. Now, you just want to strangle them. I've heard a lot of people say this, but his new voice is TERRIBLE. It's so high, it sounds like someone's giving him a wedgie or something. I hate it. In fact, I can't even stand to watch the new episodes because I cringe at their utter stupidness and go-nowhere plot lines. There's absolutely no point in watching it anymore. I seriously wish it was the 90's again, and not just because it brings back memories of my childhood, but because there were so many cartoons that I wish they re-ran now. Shows like Rocko's Modern Life, Ren & Stimpy, CatDog, and Hey Arnold, to name a few. Apparently Arthur is still on, but they changed his voice, too. I hate it when cartoons do that, as if children are too stupid to notice. Would you make a Pirates of the Carabbean without Johnny Depp? Of course not. So it doesn't make sense to make a new cartoon season without the original voices.

Lammmme.

Okay, I'm going to stop now, cause on account that my co-op teacher is coming.
